England World Cup Rugby megastar Lawrence Dallaglio brought his Dad to the MOF ISDN Studio today to discuss their new range of yummy Italian “Dallaglio by Sacla” pasta sauces. They were perfect gents and completed a schedule of 15 x ISDN interviews together, set-up by the Ministry’s favourite radio-booking guru, Ciro Castaldo.

HERO OF THE RAILS – PREMIERE
The Fat Controller and a team of the MOF’s finest performers hit Leicester Square today for the premiere of the new ‘Thomas and Friends’ film: “Hero of the Rails”. The audience included Katie Price and her entourage. Rumour has it that our Fat Controller was very taken with Ms Price: “Oh… bust my buffers! What can I say? Charming young woman. Controlled the paparazzi like a true pro – ‘Come on guys I’m gettin bored.’ Masterful!”

WOGAN CAKE
It was our great honour to help Pudsey Bear meet with Sir Terry Wogan & his life-sized sponge cake “double” today. The 71-year-old broadcasting legend was presented with the enormous dessert in London to celebrate his 30th year as host of BBC Children In Need; and on his encounter with the cake – made by Jane Asher Party Cakes – he said: “I staggered back in horror.”

HARRY POTTER BALLOON RELEASE
To mark the launch of the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” on DVD (pre-order), we released 1,000 balloons from the Millennium Bridge at lunchtime today. This is always a great location and the sun shone. Result. Harry Potter stars Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) joined the fun – and each balloon has a card attached featuring a unique code that will entitle the finder to register online for entry into a fab grand prize draw.

STA TRAVEL – COVENT GARDEN
Today – as part of STA Travel’s 30th Birthday celebrations – a selection of modes of transport were brought together outside the London’s Transport Museum in Covent Garden. Attractions included a 1954 Cadillac convertible, a giraffe Unicyslist and Minister James on a camel. This proved an entertaining sight for those passing through.
