HALLOWEEN AT RENDEZVOUS
The Rendezvous Casino in Mayfair hosted a haunted masquerade party tonight and, as part our Halloween weekend (which has also included a gaggle of witches at Selfridges), spooky Ministers were there in force. Having transformed this exclusive casino’s Piano Bar into a world of cobwebs, candelabras, pumpkins and purple lighting…we filled it with vampire caricaturists, gorgeous “Trick or Treat Girls” and host of Halloween hilarity. You could hear the screams from Hyde Park Corner to Hampstead Heath…

APPLE DAY
Yesterday was officially Apple Day! This annual spectacular is celebrated annually by Borough Market and Southwark Cathedral with an assortment of apple-related fun…cider…street entertainment…and apple bobbing in the cathedral courtyard. The activities were led this year by the MOF’s very own Minister Andy, superbly assisted by the sensational Farmer Tim.

SAW VI
The picture below features the actual headlamp used in “Saw VI”, the latest episode in the Saw horror movie series, which opened in UK theatres tonight…and if you were at the Vue Cinema in Acton this evening you might have been lucky enough to bump into Ministry performers offering you the chance to put it on! The activity ends on Sunday, but the horror continues…with photos of our victims to be appearing on a website near you soon…and big prizes to be won.

FAT CONTROLLER FILMING
Sir Topham Hatt is back in our world again. Having filmed him in action at Drusillas in East Sussex today, we will be editing the footage in our studio this week…with the final masterpiece being shown on a huge screen in Hit Entertainment’s “Little Big Club Live” stage show in Dubai next month.

HERMES
Every other Thursday up until the beginning of November, MOF dancers are performing in the scarf room at the Liberty store on Regent Street. The room has been transformed by Hermes and the purpose of these stylish routines is to illustrate the many amazing things that can be done with a Hermes scarf. Live music adds to the fun, with choreography by Minister Nicky.

SPANGLY JACKET MONDAY
It’s Monday at the Ministry…and for some reason everyone (except Minister Matt) is wearing a spangly jacket.

TK MAXX TOOTING and GALWAY
Ministry performers have been in the attention-grabbing groove this week, as we celebrate the opening of yet more TKMaxx stores. Fearless teams of MOF in-store dancers and on-street buskers have given the people of South West London and Ireland a taste of “The Feeling”…which can be experienced only when you enjoy the thrill of a TKMaxx bargain. It’s all good – we love TKMaxx!

THE POTATO COUNCIL
To prove how easy potatoes are to prepare, the Potato Council challenged us to provide a contortionist to cook a potato dish whilst standing on her head. For the resulting photocall, which comprised a purpose-built mobile kitchen at the London Eye, bendy Minister Tiina balanced upside down on one hand, whilst using the other to create a quick spud dish – proving that, at the start of the British Potato season, the good old potato is the “must have food” for everyone (including circus performers).
